Went there for Sunday dinner on the 8th of June. A warm welcome from the staff, not the fullest in there, which I personally liked. The service was excellent from start to finish, with pleasant and helpful staff. The food was excellent, proportion size was great and it tasted fantastic. I would recommend the turkey. Well done to all at The Welsh House for a fantastic experience, we will definitely be returning.

Paul, the new manager, has done an absolutely fab job. The food, decor and service was exceptional. The meals were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Fresh and high quality ingredients at a very reasonable peice. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Service second to none. We will definitely be coming here again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely incredible, from our starters right the way through to us finishing our meal we were blown away, can’t thank the staff enough, Teresa looked after us all night and she was a delight. For the price it was well worth it, with me and my partner struggling to fit out the door afterwards as we had to finish our plates we will definitely be returning once we have managed to let our food this evening settle .

We attended a Fawlty Towers dining experience. It was amazing. We were a bit confused where to go on entrance, but once the actors arrived, wow! Food was sensational, great atmosphere and the staff were fantastic. Please do more of this! This place would not have boon on our radar if this event wasn’t on.

Came across this lovely restaurant this evening. Was lucky enough to be seated as it was fairly busy already and there was parties arriving throughout our time there. The staff were friendly and swift with service and the food was beautifully cooked. I had a lovely Rump stake with a red wine sauce and a side of Garlic mushroom. Everything was presented well and I enjoyed it immensely. Beautifully decorated throughout and already recommend it to a work mate for a date night with his wife as I was sat looking at the menu. Will definitely come back again.

I had a fantastic stay at The Welsh House! The highlight of my visit was the lovely breakfast—everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. A special shout-out to James, who served me with such warmth and professionalism. He was absolutely fab, making sure I had everything I needed and adding a friendly touch to the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place to start my day. I would highly recommend The Welsh House to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

The very first thing to notice is the traditional feel, the whole place has. Lots of dark wood, spacious gaps between tables and seating, plenty of room for anyone with mobility issues. The welcoming staff are excellent, Jo and Kamima provided great service, with plenty of smiles, made everyone feel special. The food was exceptional, all from a menu, full of Welsh produce, with every meal, including kids burger, being of the highest quality. Absolutely enjoyed the visit and definitely one place to try.

Went for dinner on. Thursday evening, was very quiet but to be expected as working week and sun was out. Place was very clean and airy and great decor. We were greeted and dealt with all evening by a guy called Charles who was very pleasant and knew his stuff. We didn’t feel rushed by him and he helped us a lot deciding on drinks and food. There are 2 menus, the main Welsh house menu as described lots of Welsh influences and a pizza menu which I believe is in partnership with the Welsh House Salvotore. This made the deciding a challenge! Anyhow I settled for the Welsh rarebit starter and the Chicken burger with Truffle fries. Both of which were delicious. My friends all had food off the Welsh House menu and there were no complaints. So overall it was a great evening with attentive service by Charles and we all agreed to visit again as there were a lot of things we still wanted to try!!
